JAMMU: NSS unit of Government Gandhi Memorial Science College on Thursday organized an awareness programme on ‘Digital Jammu Kashmir’ under the patronage of Principal, Dr. Ravender Tickoo and guidance of NSS PO Dr. Deepali Mahajan.
NSS volunteers made a selfie point and made students and staff aware to avail various e-services provided by different Government departments and online services being provided through Rapid Assessment System. The volunteers during this celebration, imparted awareness about online services like Umang, e-UNNAT, DigiLocker, Jammu Smart City, Revenue department, mobile sewa, Tourism, social welfare, COVID management, e-library.
One should activate their online services and promote them to make J&K digitalized, they said adding that e-services can greatly benefit the public and brought transparency in the working of public offices.
