Paramount Convent holds English Spellathon Competition

JAMMU: Paramount Convent School organised English Spellathon Competition and General English Test in the school premises on Tuesday.
About 57 students from Class 1st to 3rd took part in it.
The main aim of the competition was to motivate the children to take keen interest in enriching their vocabulary and pronunciation skills to become effective and impressive communicator. The level of the difficultly was according to their age and caliber. Principal of the School, Isha Manhas congratulated the prize winners and said that spellings improve reading and writing fluency, vocabulary and comprehension.
Class 3rd: Damini got first prize, second went to Adhayan whereas Rakesh bagged third prize.
Class 2nd: Mrigya, Pranay and Azaan got first prize, Parth won second and Ruder fetched third prize.
Class 1st: Swarali Aditya and Ruder bagged first prize, second went to Aryaman and Jatin whereas Niyati got third prize.
