Param FC wins Katra Football trophy

JAMMU: Param Football Club (FC) won the Katra Football Tournament which was organised by Reasi District Police under Civic Action Program at Sports Stadium, Katra in district Reasi.
In the final, Param FC defeated Sainik Colony FC 6-1. Rohit Singh, Sunil Sandhu, Rishi Rajput and Varun Singh were the scorers from winning side of Param FC. Rishi Rajpur was named player of the tournament for his superb game throughout the event while Rishi of Param FC was declared man of the match.
In the final and prize distribution function, PO ICDS, Renu Kumari was chief guest while SDPO Katra Surinder Singh was guest of honour. In total, six teams from Jammu zone representing Param FC, Sainik FC, Katra FC, Udhampur City FC, Pegasus FC and Reasi FC participated in this event.
The competition was organised with the sole aim to engage youth of district Reasi in sports activities as also to curb the menace of drug. District Police Reasi supported by DFA Reasi in holding the event.
The event took place under the overall supervision of SP Katra, Amit Bhasin and his team of officers, including SDPO Katra, Surinder Singh and SHO Katra, Nishant Gupta.
Matches officiated by Haroon Rashid, Jaydeep Kumar and Karmanyu Badgotra under the supervision of Rahul Bakshi and coordinated by Sub-Inspector Gourav.
