Parade Sports Association XI scripts win in Masters T20

JAMMU: Parade Sports Association XI registered win in the Third New Year Masters T20 Cricket Cup being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Transport Department at Parade Ground, here on Wednesday.
Earlier, Parade Sports Association XI defeated Singh Akhnoor XI by 19 runs wickets.
Batting first, Parade Sports Association XI scored 98 runs in 20 overs for the loss of eight wickets. Anshuman (22), Pardeep Bali (18) and Akshay (11) runs were the main scorers.
For Singh Akhnoor XI, Sham picked three wickets while Manjeet Singh, Raman Dutta and Malditta shared one each.
In reply, Singh Akhnoor XI could not achieve the target and made only 79 runs in 16.1 overs for the loss of ten wickets, thus lost the match by 19 runs. Manjeet made 23 and Deepak added 13 runs to the total. Anshuman, Pardeeep and Sanjay Sharma claimed two wickets eachwhile Akshay and Sunny shared one. For his all round display, Anshuman was adjudged Man of the Match.
The match was officiated by Naresh, Sandeep and Vinod.
In today’s match Ashok Kumar, Additional Secretary Transport J and K was the Chief Guest who was accompanied by SSP R.K Bhat and Chief Prosecuting Officer and Coordinator of the Tournament, Rajesh Gill introduced with the participating teams.
