SAMBA: Paramjit Singh Pamma from Dera Baba Nanak (Punjab) won Sidh Swankha Kesari Dangal 2016 title by defeating Bagga Pahalwan from Amritsar during the competition at village Sidh Swankha in Ramgarh area of district Samba.
The annual Sidh Swankha Kesari Dangal which were organised in the premises
Bawa Sidh Goria Nath ji Temple on Monday during the long weak Annual Mela which was begins yesterday.
During this annual Dangal around 200 bouts were compete under the athletes who were coming not from Jammu and Kashmir but also from Punjab, Haryana and Delhi.
The first prize including cash, Silver Gurj and Sidh Swankha Kesari Dangal Patta was given away to goes to Pamma by the Chief Guest, Chander Prakash Ganga, Minister for Industries and Commerce. The Mahant of the Sidh Goria Nath ji Temple, Mahant Peer Girdhari Nath were also present.
Others present during the Dangal were SDM Vijaypur Ravinder Sharma, SDPO Vijaypur Abhishek Sharma, Tehsildar Ramgarh Jai Kumar Sharma, BDO Ramgarh and senior officers from different departments.
