JAMMU: Coming down heavily on all those who were demanding to start dialogue with Pakistan, BJP MLA Ravinder Raina said dialogue with Pakistan can’t be fruitful as no one can take the guarantee of that nation.
Interrupting M.Y Tarigami CPI (M) MLA from Kulgam during Assembly proceedings, Raina said it was Atal Behari Vajpayee, the former Prime Minister of India who went to Pakistan via bus and started dialogue process but Pakistan back-stabbed and initiated Kargil War. “Again talks took place at Agra between Atal Behari Vajpayee and General Musharraf and the result was attack on the India Parliament. Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi went to Pakistan but unfortunately Pakistani terrorists attacked Pathankot air base, Uri army camp, Nagrota army camp and GREEF camp in Akhnoor exposing Pakistan as a rogue nation”, Raina said adding that Pakistan is untrustworthy.
