SUNDERBANI: A woman was killed while two others were injured on Thursday when a car carrying three persons on board, rammed into a parked tipper near Peer Baba Sunderbani on Jammu – Poonch National Highway.
The woman identified as Manju Devi, wife of Koushal Kumar resident of Sunderbani was killed while her husband Koushal Kumar and her son Jagdish Kumar were seriously injured. Immediately on receipt of information the SHO Sunderbani Pradeep Gupta with his team reached the spot and shifted all the victims to Sub District Hospital Sunderbani with the association of locals.
The doctors declared Manju Devi as brought dead while Koushal Kumar and Jagdish Kumar whose condition was serious were shifted to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu after giving first aid.
The police has seized the car bearing registration No JK02AK-2879 and tipper bearing No JK02BA-5163 and registered a case for investigation.
