BHADARWAH: One person died on the spot while another got injured in an accident at Doda.
According to eyewitnesses, a Van (JK06-4070),was on its way from Doda to Kishtwar, on reaching Pul Doda (just 5 Km from Doda) it fell into River Chenab as driver lost control over on it, resulting in one person dieing on the spot and another getting injured.
Locals with police rushed to the spot and fished out both from the ill-fated vehicle and shifted them to District Hospital Doda where doctors declared one of them as brought dead.
Deceased was identified as Haq Nawaz son of Abdul Rasheed resident of Drabshalla, Kishtwar.
The injured has been identified as Kashif Ali son of Mubarak Ali resident of Drabshalla, Kishtwar. Police has registered a case in this regard.
