SRINAGAR: A boy died while another person was injured in two separate road accidents in Ganderbal and Kargil.
In Ganderbal, a Maruti car (JK05D-1609) driven by Javaid Ahmad Dar, son of Abdul Gaffar, resident of Kangan hit and injured a 10 years old boy namely Zaid Zahoor Ganie, son of Zahoor Ahmad Ganie, resident of Preng at National Highway Preng. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Kangan for treatment, where he succumbed to injuries. After completion of medico legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites. In Kargil, a Xylo vehicle (JK07-27310) driven by Mohammad Ibrahim, resident of Fraw Drass collided with a Sumo (JK07-1576) driven by Mujeeb Ahmad, resident of Bhimat Drass at Taksboo, resulting in injuries to one person namely Nazir Ahmad, resident of Khunda Chokiyal. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Kargil for treatment. Police have registered all cases in respective police Stations.
