KATHUA: In continuation with anti-drug drive under the supervision of SSP Kathua Neeva Jain, a police party of Police Post Nagri on Tuesday arrested one narcotics smuggler with heroin. The accused was apprehended near Goond Naka in the jurisdiction of Police Post Nagri when patrol party intercepted him while he was driving towards Kathua on a motor cycle bearing Reg. No.PB-08 CQ/9845. He was identified as Sham Lal son of Harbans Lal resident of Janyal Tehsil District Pathankot Punjab. During questioning he managed to slip but with swift reaction police party nabbed him in the nearby agricultural field. Police recovered 3.9 grams of heroin from his possession. A case vide FIR No. 330/16 under section 8/21/22/NDPS was registered at Police Station Kathua
