KATHUA: Police on Wednesday arrested a car driver and recovered 4.80 grams heroin from his possession.
According to a report, on specific information a police team of Lakhanpur Police Station laid special Naka at Lakhanpur and intercepted a maruti Swift car (JK01 P/8707) coming from Punjab side.
During checking , police recovered 4.80gms of heroin from the possession of one Daljeet Singh son of Trilok Singh resident of Langate Morh Kathua.
A case vide FIR No 12/2017 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act was registered. Whole operation was conducted by Insp Kulbir Singh Choudhary SHO Lakhanpur under the supervision of Dysp Kuljeet Singh, Addl Supdt of police Khalil Poswal and SSP Kathua Pawan Parihar.
