KATRA : GRP Katra arrested a drug peddler and recovered a huge consignment of intoxicants from his possession late in the evening on Sunday.
According to reports the police team headed by SHO Railway Station Katra Narinder Singh under the supervision of SDPO Kamlesh Shoor and SSP Ashok Kumar Sharma intercepted a youth roaming at the station suspiciously.
During investigation the police recovered intoxicants including 6,400 capsules and 600 tablets from his possession.
The police arrested the youth identified as Ramesh Singh son of Krishan Chand resident of Sadota, Pancheri, district Udhampur and booked him under case FIR 5/16 section 8/18/21/22 NDPS Act for investigation
