SUNDERBANI: Police on Friday arrested a person involved in illegal distillation and recovered 15 liters of illicit liquor and distorted 700 liters Lahan.
According to reports, SHO Sunderbani Inspector Ravinder Singh raided the house of one Kewal Krishan son of Tota Ram resident of Upper Hathal Sunderbani and recovered 15 liters of Illicit liquor and 700 liters of Lahan, from his possession. In all 700 liters of Lahan and utensils for distilling were recovered and destroyed on spot. A case vide FIR 48/2016 under section 48-A Ex. Act was registered at Police Station Sunderbani.
