KISHTWAR: A delegation of National Student’s Union of India (NSUI) Unit Kishtwar led by Prakash Singh Dadwal District President NSUI and Mehran Anjum President Govt. Polytechnic Kishtwar met Registrar Jammu and Kashmir State Board of Technical Education (JKSBOTE) Jammu regarding various demands of Polytechnic College Kishtwar including sitting facility(lack of desks) ,lack of infrastructure , practical equipments, storage of books etc .
Delegation further demanded practical exams should be conducted in their native colleges instead of Jammu as the poor students are not able to afford such expenses to stay in Jammu.
Registrar JKSBOTE Jammu after hearing their demands said that students demand is genuine and assured that he will put their demand up to higher authorities for redressal.
