SURANKOT: A ten-day NSS camp was inaugurated in GDC Surankote by Dr. Mushtaq A. Lone, Principal of the College here on Thursday.
Prof. Abdul Razaq NSS Programme Officer discussed in detail about various activities which will be performed during the camp. Dr. Lone wished them good luck and asked the volunteers to follow the basic motive of NSS ‘Not Me But You’ and make every possible effort in serving the humanity.
KATHUA: NSS unit of Govt. Degree College Kathua on Thursday started the seven days Special Winter Camp which was formally inaugurated with the message from the Principal of the College Dr. B.L Gupta read out by Dr. Ram Singh and the lighting of traditional lamp by Dr. Rajesh Manhas along with the NSS Programme officers Dr. Ram Singh, Dr. Rachna and Dr. Surya Partap Singh.
Inaugural ceremony of the camp started with the welcome address by Dr. Rachna while Dr. Ram Singh presented the detailed schedule of the activities to be carried out during the camp.
Speaking in the event, Programme Officer Dr. Surya Partap Singh called on volunteers to consider this camp as an opportunity to provide their services for the development of the community. Dr. Rajesh Manhas who was the special guest during the function advised the volunteers to be humble while interacting with the people of the village. The programme ended with formal vote of thanks by Dr. Ram Singh.
