BARAMULLA: Nowpora X1 lifted Imtiyaz Memorial T20 Cricket Tournament trophy defeating YCC Hail by 63 runs in the final, played at Mirpor Cricket Ground, Saloosa Kreeri here in Baramulla district on Sunday.
Batting first after winning the toss, Nowpora X1 with the help of Jehangir Lone’s blistering 80 runs knock set a target of 170 with the loss of six wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
In reply, YCC Hail failed to chase the target and whole side was bowled out for 108 runs thus lost the match by 63 runs.
For his 80 runs knock with eight boundaries and six sixes, Jehangir Lone was adjudged Man of the Match as also Man of the Series.
Prominent villagers distributed the prizes among the winner and runner up teams.
