JAMMU: Former Mayor, Rajinder Sharma has said that by political reorientation PM Modi gave a new shape to the politics of the country.
Addressing a public gathering at Ward Number 62, Sharma said that be it the international relations, social welfare schemes, social-religious issues or anything else, PM Modi has addressed every problem which brought a new change in the thinking of common people about the changed work culture in the country. “Working style of PM Modi gave a new look to the image of India at international level and international events like G20 were held here during which bigwigs of the world discussed global issues in India,” senior BJP leader said.
He further said that soft landing on moon changed the thinking of the world about India which established a new identity for India which was based on scientific advancement at international level.
“Similarly during COVID -19 pandemic the PM decided to manufacture vaccines within the country which benefitted not only to India but also to the entire world,” Sharma further said adding: “The message of strong determination which PM Modi gave by his works reflects proper decision making which was possible only because the PM works selflessly without any consideration.”
He also said that today the entire country is benefitted by the visionary leadership of PM Modi. Quoting Plato and Chanakya, former Mayor said when knowledgeable and educated people fail to take interests in politics then they are ruled by the fools and PM Modi has established what changes a strong leadership can bring to their nation. “Today the public welfare schemes launched by PM Modi gives free ration to 80 crore people in the country for free and other schemes like Ayushman Card, Awas Yogna, Ujwala Yogna, Kisan Yogna etc are also extending benefits to the common people,” the firebrand BJP leader maintained.
He said that consecration ceremony of Ram Temple was not only an event but it has worked in establishing the very soul of Indian cult and people have realised that an era of Sanatan has come and it was a biggest movement in the country after independence. “It was a time when bullets were showered over devotees in Ayodhya and it is a time now when PM Modi ferried free of cost trains for the people of India to pay obeisance at Ram Temple,” Sharma continued. He said that buoyed by all this the enthusiasm prompted the Indians to reverberate slogans like ‘Ab Ki Baar Modi Sarkar 400 Par.’
The BJP leader claimed that a strong leader can only make a strong nation.
He informed that during his tenure as JMC Mayor his revolutionary work style improved the budget of the local body from Rs. 25 crore to 167 crore. It was released in month of March itself and allotment of works and excution started in the month of May which used to be in the month of November or December. These works are even going on today.This is a benefit of good governance.
Sharma also talked about his anti-corruption campaign ‘Immandar Jammu, Shandaar Jammu’ and polythene free campaign started by him which were a big success.
Speaking on the occasion Ex-MLA Shiv Dev Singh said that public will support the revolutionary leadership of PM Modi and this time all the five seats of Lok Sabha will be won by BJP. Vikas Chowdhary, BJP Secretary, Ashok Singh Manhas and Kapil Chib-both former JMC Councillors were also present on the occasion.
