Nine injured in road accidents

SRINAGAR: Nine persons were injured in different road accident in Anantnag and Bandipora.
A van bearing registration number JK02G/8103 driven by Arif Ahmad Ahanger, son of Ghulam Nabi, resident of Soaf Shali, Kokernag skidded off the road at Kharpora, Kokernag Anantnag in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kokernag, resulting in injuries to driver of the said Vehicle and seven commuters namely Ghulam Nabi Padder, son of Abdul Samad, Mohammad Ramzan Padder, son of Mohammad Akbar, Mohammad Ashraf Wani, son of Ghulam Rasool, Mohammad Amin Padder, son of Ali Mohammad, Abdul Rehman Padder, son of Mohammad Akbar residents of Kharpora, Nazir Ahmad Mir, son of Bashir Ahmad and Uzair Ahmad Pala, son of Ghulam Rasool residents of Soaf Shali. Injured persons shifted to Sub District Hospital Kokernag for medical treatment. Police registered a case in this regard.
A Santro Car bearing registration No JK05B-3774 driven by Abid Ahmad Reshi, son of Haji Abdul Rashid Reshi, resident of Nesbal and one unknown FCI truck met with an accident at Shadipora in the jurisdiction of Police Station Sumbal, resulting in injuries to driver of the said Santro Car. Injured driver shifted to Srinagar Hospital for further treatment. Police registered a case in this regard.
