UDHAMPUR: The members of NGO Jiyo Aur Jeene Do under the presidentship of Anjum Shehnaz visited Nari Niketan Udhampur and condemned the unfortunate incident that occurred on Tuesday night there.
The President of NGO , Anjum Shehnaz visited the girls residing there and said , It is very shameful incident in which some criminal minded persons threw stones at the Nari Niketan and the girls are feeling insecure after this.
She met the girls residing there and assured them that they are our responsibility and such incidents shall not be allowed to happen again.
“This is a serious issue and a very strict action is needed to be taken against those who committed this. If no action is taken then the seed of such a crime will propagate” she said.
She appealed to SSP for an immediate action and proper punishment for the culprits.
NGO members including Prema Devi , Shakuntla Devi , Kamlesh , Koshalya Devi, Laxmi , Babli , Roshi, Vijay, Sanjay, Joginder and others were present.
