The government is bringing three new laws. These three laws are criminal and are the most commonly used. Some laws have been written afresh. That means, along with the name, its work has also been changed. The earlier IPC i.e. Indian Penal Code 1860 will now be Indian Judicial Code 2023. Similarly, CRPC i.e. Criminal Procedure Code will now be the Indian Civil Protection Code and Indian Evidence Act i.e. Indian Evidence Act 1872 will now be the Indian Evidence Act 2023. There are many new things in the new law being made in the name of treason. Crimes like armed rebellion, subversion of the country, involvement in separatist activities, threatening the unity and integrity of the country have been added to the new law. This new law will now be Section 150.
