NC will emerge as single largest party: Slathia

VIJAYPUR : MLA Vijaypur and Sr. Vice President National Conference J and K Surjeet Singh Slathia on Thursday intensified his election campaign at village Teli Basti, Bari Brahamana in Vijaypur Constituency. He said that National Conference under the leadership of Omar Abdullah will emerge as single largest party in J and K Assembly elections.
Slathia expressed his gratitude to the people of the area for giving whole hearted support and showing faith in him for over all development of Vijaypur Constituency. He said that the promises made with the people of remote and far-flung area have been fulfilled by the Omar Abdullah led government.
While addressing the large gathering Slathia asked the people to beware of the politicians who are dividing the people on communal basis and want to grab the power for their personal interests. He further said that the agenda of National Conference is for all round equitable development of all sections of the society particularly living in remote and border villages. He urged the people of the area to vote decisively in favour of National Conference for all round and equitable development of J and K State. Slathia asked the people to choose that party which has the track record of initiating the developmental activities in J and K State particularly in Vijaypur.
On the occasion dozens of leaders along with their workers and supporters from PDP and Congress joined National Conference which include Sadiq Hussain, Tariq Hussain, Mohit, Rahul, Kaka Hussain, Shahid Choudhary, Neeraj Singh, Munir Hussain, Yasir, Khalid, Yasin, Vicky, Nasir and were welecomed by Slathia.
Slathia also convened election meetings in Gho-Brahamana, Gho-Manhasan, Shezadpur, Dera and Radwan and asked the people to support NC for better development in Vijaypur Constituency.
Prominent among others present on the occasion include Bhagwan Singh, Vijay Singh, Raman Gupta, Mohinder Gupta, Sarpanch Sadiq Hussain, Mushtaq Ahmed, Qadir Hussain Malik, Nazir Malik and Mohd Din.
