POONCH: Two persons including one Naib Tehsildar were injured in road mishaps here on Saturday.
According to report, the Naib Tehsildar Surankote Mohd Rashid who was going to his office from Lassana to Surankote in car, was hit by a rashly driven matador coming from the opposite side in which he sustained injuries and the car was damaged. The injured was immediately shifted to Sub District Hospital Surankote.
The Surankote police has seized the Matador (JK02S-9410) and un-numbered car and registered a case for investigation.
In the other case, a motorcyclist identified as Anjam Iqbal (22), son of Mohd Iqbal, resident of village Potha, Tehsil Surankote was hit by an army vehicle near Police Lines Poonch when he was on his way home.
The injured youth was immediately shifted to District Hospital Poonch but due to his serious condition he was evacuated to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu.
The Poonch Police has seized the motorcycle ( JK12-4622) and registered the case for investigation.
