SUNDERBANI : A Nagar Kirtan was organised in Tehsil Sunderbani on Sunday ahead of Parkash Utsav of Guru Gobind Singh Ji in which large number of devotees from all walks of life including men, women and children participated.
The Nagar Kirtan which started from Gurdwara Singh Sabha Thandapani proceeded to Gurdwara Singh Sabha Sunderbani Town. The Holy Shabad Guru, Guru Granth Sahib was kept in a specifically structured and decorated tractor trolley. Raagi Jatha recited Gurbani Kirtan throughout the way from Thandapani to Sunderbani.
Panj Pyaras attired in a religious uniform walked in front of the Holy Guru and in the fore-front a team of Martial Art players led by Bhopinder Singh Tiger exhibited their traditional art of warfare. Besides this, they also displayed various challenging stunts.
The Nagar Kirtan culminated at Gurdwara Singh Sabha Sunderbani where president of Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee thanked the masses for joining Nagar Kirtan and asked them to participate in the Gurpurab function on 28th December, 2014 at Gurdwara Singh Sabha Thandapani.
Guru Ka Langar was also served to the devotees on this occasion.
