R S PURA: Police on Friday arrested a motorcyclist and recovered 50 pouches of liquor from his possession.
According to a report, on a specific information SDPO R S Pura Surinder Choudhary laid a special Naka near Peer Baba Banota, R S Pura. During Naka, one Motor (JK02F/1321) was signaled to stop checking but on seeing the police rider tried to escape. He was chased and apprehended who was identified as Arjun Choudhary resident of Banota. During search of his belongings, Police recovered 50 pouches of Excise liquor from his possession. A case vide FIR No. 179/2017 under section 48-A Excise Act was registered against him at Police Station R S Pura.
