MLA seeks funds for improving educational infra

JAMMU: MLA Nowshera Ravinder Raina asked the Education Minister to provide funds for improving the infrastructure of educational institutions of the Nowshera constituency.
Speaking on the grants of Education Department in the Legislative Assembly here on Saturday, Ravinder said there is need of adequate funds for the better infrastructure at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Sunderbani, Nowshera and Higher Secondary School Lamberi on the priority basis as the students in these schools are suffering due to dearth of facilities.
Raina also demanded Punjabi and Sanskrit teachers, masters and lecturers in government schools in Nowshera Constituency.
He further said teachers deserve respect as they are the Nation Builders and India is nation which has a glorious history of “Guru-Shishya Parampara”
Speaking on the grants of Education Department, MLA Nowshera Ravinder Raina on Saturday complimented the Minister for revolutionary steps being taken for imparting quality education.
He also demanded enhancement of salary of ReT teachers and asked the government to frame inter-district transfer policy for female teachers.
Raina said there are certain drawbacks in the newly framed transfer policy which should be removed. He also sought rewards for the efficient and dedicated teachers.
