Missing KU student traced, handed over to university authorities

SRINAGAR: A student of University of Kashmir who was reportedly missing has been traced and handed over to the university authorities here on Friday.
As was reported earlier that on 22nd February 2017 Chief Procter University of Kashmir reported to Police Station Nigeen that a student namely Aqib Mushtaq Malik, son of Mushtaq Ahmad, a student of LLB 3rd Semester, resident of Pinjoora, Shopian was missing since 21th of February afternoon. Accordingly a missing report was lodged in Police Station Nigeen. Subsequently a Special Investigation Team headed by SDPO Hazratbal was constituted to trace out the missing student.
The investigation team succeeded in tracing the missing student from the house of Mohammad Rafiq Bhat, son of Abdul Rehman, resident of Habak, Nigeen where he was staying as a tenant. After proper counselling the student was handed over to Chief Proctor University of Kashmir in presence of his relatives and friends.
