Jammu: Security forces on Saturday busted a militant hideout and seized a cache of arms and ammunition in the higher reaches of Ramban District.
“Based on specific information, the troops of Rashtriya Rifles under Delta Force and Jammu and Kashmir Police in a joint operation busted a militant hideout in higher reaches of Tankimal Forest in the district and seized a huge cache of arms, ammunition and war like stores,” Jammu-based Defence Spokesman Lt Col Manish Mehta said.
The recovery includes three pistols with magazines, 12 rounds of AK 47 ammunition, 19 rounds of 7.62 mm SLR ammunition, four radio sets, one binocular, three RPG rounds, four UBGL grenades, three Chinese and six hand
