Meraki- Science Extravaganza conducted at Preparatory Wing of JKPS Kunjwani

JAMMU: Unveiling the ‘Wonders of Science’, Meraki- the Science Extravaganza was set up to ignite minds at Preparatory Wing of JK Public School, Kunjwani.
With over hundred innovative projects and models on display, the exhilarating ‘Science Exhibition’ was held at JKPS Kunjwani on Saturday.
Chairman JK Educational Society, Raj Daluja inaugurated the grand fest in the presence of Director JK Educational Society Shashi Chaudhary; Principal JKPS, Rajesh Rathore; Vice Principal Roopinder Kour; School Coordinator Inderjeet Kour and Preparatory School coordinator Silvi Bansal Agarwal and Coordinator Toddlers World, Shivangani Pandotra.
The fest was a dynamic celebration and an entrance to the world of curiosity, innovation, anatomy, astronomy, earth science, geology, hydrology, atmospheric sciences, physics, chemistry, biology, botany, zoology, fun with science, yogic practices, Robotic dance, serene table sounds and many more.
The fest started with an electrifying and heart- thrilling beats of robotic dance that captivated everyone’s mind.
Under the guidance of teachers the students of Classes III, IV and V made a stunning display of their innovative projects and models based on various themes of science.
The participants delved into the rejuvenating and ancient art of yoga that reflected the holistic and diverse experience of all attendees.
After the session of invigorating yoga, the science fest was unfolded into a captivating exploration of both working and non-working models, showcasing the convergence of theory and practical application.
All the participants had an opportunity to engage themselves with cutting-edge working models that exemplified scientific principles in action, providing hands-on experiences that bridged the gap between theory and application.
Additionally, the event featured non-working models serving as educational tools to enhance understanding and appreciation for the intricacies of scientific concepts.
This multifaceted approach aimed to cater to both the inquisitive minds of professionals and the curious intellects of enthusiasts, creating an enriching experience for all.
Taking glimpses of the great exhibition, parents, guardians, teachers and students from JKPS Kunjwani visited the Primary Wing and shared their valuable remarks on the sterling models and exhibits designed by JKPS learners. The ‘Science Exhibition’ was appreciated a lot from all corners.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal JKPS Kunjwani Rajesh Rathore said, “Teachers have brilliantly inculcated the elements of inquiry and explorations in JKiians. Each model put up for display reflected a sound mentoring of the presenter(s). What a laudable endeavour to foster the spirit of inquiry and exploration in children!”
“JKPS Kunjwani is known for creating a cutting edge in the critical thinking, creative thinking, decision making and problem solving skills of students. Hats off to the Coordinator Preparatory wing Silvi Bansal Agarwal and her team of dedicated teachers for transforming students into thinking and self-motivated individuals”, he summed up.
