Manjit demand separate PSC for Jammu

VIJAYPUR: Former Minister and JKPCC General Secretary Manjit Singh on Friday demanded separate Public Service Commission for Jammu division in view of continuous discrimination with the unemployed youths.

Chairing a monthly meeting of Congress workers here at Vijaypur, former Minister demanded Regional Council for Jammu and separate PSC to end discrimination being faced by the youth of Jammu division.

The Former Minister said that under BJP led Government in Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu has faced worst kind of discrimination and ignorance in all developmental activities, while a policy to appease separatists was adopted by the Government by giving amnesty to the anti national.

He said that the security forces which give their lives for nation and serve in the difficult situations were demoralized with the decision taken by the government to release anti national who attached security forces.

He said that in employment sector, Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has ignored Jammuities who are unemployed. “The selection process under BJP Government remained discriminatory and deliberately ignored Jammu educated youth,” he said.

With regard to Regional Council, he said, all the legislation powers should also be given to Jammu so that Jammuities can decide their developmental activities and other things for which they remained dependent on the leadership which was loyal to the Kashmir based leaders and surrendered everything for enjoying power.
