JAMMU: BJP Member Parliament, Shamsher Singh Manhas on Wednesday reviewed the working of Animal Care Center at Roop Nagar, which is run by ‘SAVE’ NGO.
Accompanied by Municipal Commissioner, Mandeep Kaur and Joint Commissioner JMC, R.S Jamwal, Manhas visited the centre and enquired about the working of Animal Care Center.
The Municipal Commissioner apprised Manhas about the shortage of vehicles and the problems being faced by the staff while rescuing animals.
Manhas announced that a vehicle TATA 407 will be provided to the NGO which will be used as an ambulance for the rescue of animals.
