SUNDERBANI: In land dispute between two parties, one person was murdered while two other got injured on Tuesday at village Saleri, Ward No 1 in Sunderbani.
As per the details available, Jia Lal son of Balak Ram and his family members were attacked by the other party late Monday night when they were engaged in tilling the fields. In the attack Jia Lal (60) died on the spot while his wife Shakuntla Devi and son Subhash Chander got critically injured.
On receiving the information, a party of Police Station Sunderbani rushed to the spot and shifted dead and injured to Sunderbani Hospital from where both the injured were shifted to GMC Hospital for treatment. The body of Jia Lal was handed over to the family after autopsy.
Police has also arrested one of the attacker identified as Tara Chand while his other associates Ramesh Chander, Ram Lal, Kunti Devi and Gudo Devi are still at large.
Sunderbani Police has registered a case vide FIR No 46/2016 under section 302/34 CrPC and launched manhunt to nab the absconding attackers.
