JAMMU: A man was arrested on Tuesday evening while he was fleeing after killing his mother and three months old daughter at his house at Bishnah area in Jammu District.
Police said that at about 5:00 PM an information was received at police station Bishnah that a person namely Jag Dev Singh alias Michael has killed his mother namely Kamla Devi and his three months old daughter at his residence at Morchapur village in Bishnah with a sharp edged weapon.
The accused after committing the offence fled away from the spot on his black coloured pulsar motor cycle (JK02CN 0372).
However, he was arrested at police naka near Bishnah. SSP Jammu, Dr. Vinod Kumar said that this double murder case has put everyone in a state of shock as the accused brutally murdered his mother and three months old daughter and matter was taken on priority. SSP said that the accused Jag Dev Singh alias Michael has been arrested within three hours and investigation into the matter has been started.
