KATRA: Police on Monday arrested one drug peddler and recovered 140 grams of Charas from his possession. According to report, a party of Police Station Katra led by Sub-Inspector Ghulam Mohd Malik, while on patrolling duty near Chintamani Katra, intercepted one person and recovered 140 grams of Charas from his possession. The accused has been identified as Saddam Hussain, son of Gulzar Hussain, resident of Karam Katha, Tehsil Thuroo, District Reasi. A case FIR No 139/2017 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act was registered at Poice Station Katra and the investigation of the case is being conducted by SI Jasvinder Choudary, I/C PP Banganga under the supervision of Dr. Ashok Sharma, SDPO Katra.
