JAMMU: Crime Branch on Friday arrested one Raj Kumar, son of Gain Chand, resident of Jotwal area, who was evading arrest since 2013 according to DySP Mohammad Ibrahim Crime Branch.
The official said Raj Kumar had prepared fake order of allotment of Custodian property in the light of Form-A as DP (Displaced Person) of 1947 on the name of one Prathivi Singh, son of Noor Singh land measuring 17.18 Kanal in Village Nanak Chak in connivance with revenue official and land mafia and thereafter executed power of attorney in 2010 impersonating as Prathivi Singh, resident of Chib Mohalla, Chinor whereas the original Prathivi was died in 1996.
After his arrest, Raj Kumar has been sent to seven days police remand.
