Jammu: The permanent Lok Adalat settled 20 out of the total 63 cases produced before the Bench on Monday.
A permanent Lok Adalat of bank cases was held on Friday at District Court, Jammu under the chairmanship of Sanjay Gupta Principal District and Sessions Judge Jammu. The Bench constituted for the Lok Adalat was of Additional District Judge Bank Cases, Jammu Ashok Kumar Shavan.
A total of 63 cases were listed before the bench out of which 20 cases including execution matters were settled between the parties by reconciliatory efforts of the Bench. A sum of Rs 82,70,842 has been recovered from the defaulters. The litigants, advocates and the bank officials were present in the Court.
