JAMMU: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir shall dedicate Jammu’s first exclusive football arena at Mini Stadium, Parade, here to the game in a function to be held tomorrow.
The state seems set for the event wherein the J&K Sports Council (JKSC), the caretaker of the sports infrastructure in J&K shall also present cash awards through the Chief Guest, LG, Manoj Sinha to those medal winners at the national and international level.
The Mini Stadium, Parade had a long wait for its formal opening after completion of the playing area and the pavilion. However, those football enthusiasts used to train at the modern facility for a pretty long time.
The synthetic football turf would go a long way in helping mould young players into professionals.
