JAMMU: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha met the family members of martyr civilian Sanjay Sharma at Raj Bhawan, here on Thursday.
Sanjay Sharma was martyred by terrorists in Pulwama on 26th February, 2023.
The Lt Governor expressed heartfelt sympathies with the family members of the Martyr and assured every possible assistance and support to the family by the administration.
The Kashmiri Pandit family, which stayed put during the peak militancy in 1990s in the Valley, migrated to Jammu after Sharma’s killing. Later, Anil Sharma, President, All J&K Panchayat Conference called on the Lt Governor and projected various concerning issues of Panchayat Gardeners cum Guards. The Lt Governor assured the former Minister and President, All J&K Panchayat Conference of appropriate redressal of the genuine issues and demands put forth by them during the interactions.
