Labour Day- A Special Day to honour our Support Staff: Principal JKPS Kunjwani

JAMMU: To celebrate the painstaking efforts of the Labour force that work tirelessly, Monday 01 May 2023 was celebrated as Labour Day with full zeal in JKPS Kunjwani campus. A special assembly was conducted on this occasion to express gratitude to the support staff/IV class employees working in the school.
Reflecting on the significance of the day a scholar from Grade XI Ridham Mishra said, “Workers unite the World” as rightly said by Dattopant Thengedi, the labour day is the clear manifestation of the statement. The day, as adopted by the UN and as standardized by the International Labour Organization (ILO), is also meant to give regard and show respect to the massive labour population of daily-wage earners, peasants and all those who form the thriving lifeline of the global economy”.
Highlighting further the phenomenal contributions made by the work force day in and day out, Savneet Kour added, “In the modern context, the labour is the backbone of any successful economy that adds to its prosperity and in a country like India, the possibilities are excitingly limitless. Thus, our brothers and sisters of the labour community are undeniably an integral part and the most precious asset of the society, who must be acknowledged for their sacrifices and painful efforts, all in the name of the nation”.
A special speech was delivered, a poem was recited & a poignant Street play skit was staged to enunciate on the ceaseless efforts of these integral members of the JKPS Family.
Special gifts were given by the Director, Shashi Chaudhary on behalf of the school’s management as a token of love and appreciation to this team, which works incessantly for the school. It was also a reminder for everyone to honour the real architects of our society and deserve due respect.
Besides the Principal JKPS Kunjwani Rajesh Rathore, other officials present on the occasion were Vice Principal Roopinder Kour, School Coordinator Inderjeet Kaur and Toddler’s world Coordinator Shivangani Pandotra.
Principal Rajesh Rathore extolled the efforts of these people and thanked them for their selfless toil throughout the year. He lauded the untiring efforts of House cleaning staff for keeping the school campus spick-and-span in every nook & cranny. He commended the alertness and vigilance of the Security guards round the clock, which make the inward as well as the outward flow of the traffic so smooth and efficient.
He appreciated drivers and conductors for making humongous efforts while ensuring a timely arrival and dispersal of students/staff. He made special mention of the gardeners, carpenters, plumbers, electricians & other support staff for leaving no stone unturned in making JK Public School Kunjwani campus the best school campus in the City of Temples.
He praised the Patron of the school Davinder Daluja, the Chairman Raj Daluja & the School Director Shashi Chaudhary for taking a wonderful care of the support staff and keep acknowledging their phenomenal contributions off and on. He wished the support staff and the members of their family happiness, health and blissful time always.
