In addition to government resources, our society also require the services of Non Governmental Organisations ( NGO ) to build a vibrant nation. Of late the reputation of most of these NGO’s is at stake primarily due to their funding issues. To deliver selfless free service to the society, voluntary organization always does not require direct financial support for its functioning instead can deliver by virtue of their sincere dedication and strong commitment toeards the cause. Jammu based internationally acclaimed KP Volunteers is one such group of like minded dare devils which is implementing their objective of free voluntary service for the welfare of humanity without getting involved in to any direct financial funding. Well knit digitally connected, this four year old group comprising of about 400 selfless volunteers and supporters spread all across the globe act instantly upon receiving a call for requirement of any type of socio medical human service required by a needy in distress. Such type of values and ethos which are highly demanded by our society in present times, form the basic principles of this group.
The unique difference in the function of KP Volunteers is basically it co ordinates the electronic transfer of donated money from the donor directly to the vendor only, who supplies the already identified required material to the needy without exchange of any currency in between, thereby bringing transparency in its functioning by avoiding misuse of funds unlike other NGO’s and also encourages the concept of financial digitalisation. Strong team of socially well reputed activists committed to the cause of relentless service to the society, KP Volunteers help after verification of facts and initial assessment of quantum and type of requirement of the needy, be it social help, educational support, medical attention, blood requirement, food relief or even rehabilitation. Its core group instantly swings in to digital action of conveying these facts to its supporters for voluntary addressing this requirement. Irrespective of geographic location, religion, caste, creed, age or financial status, KP Volunteers act immediately without any so called barriers due to which it has earned name and fame among all sections of the society in such a short span of time, that has been even acknowledged by the authorities too. Practically their focus of working remain on the solution rather than discussing constraints and hic cups.
Notably KP Volunteers also displayed exemplary contribution during the time of COVID – 19 pandemic, in which it not only arranged free medical tele consultations, distributed medicines and ventilatory kits, but even by virtue of their overseas influence managed the import of advanced medical equipments for their sufferers. Through medical ambulances donated by their supporters , group not only helped in performing last rites of COVID – 19 deaths, but also shared the physical and mental trauma of affected families at the risk of their lives. Conclusively it is our acknowledgement of their contribution and their hard earned social recognition that is the driving force behind the working of KP Volunteers, which is responsible for their survival and needs to be encouraged especially for such helping groups.
