KALAKOT: Er. Wasim Kohli youth leader visited for flung areas of Kalakote constituency and met the victims of Teryath, Bi Nala, Treru, Katora, Moghla, Manwa, Darwari, Argi, Dhlori, Rani and other areas. Civil administration has not visited the affected areas so far and people have not been provided with basic amenities, he said adding army has been doing rescue operations in the affected areas and its role of the Army has been appreciated by the people. Local representatives along with the youth leader were Satpal Sharma, Haji Aslam, Mohd Aqub, Kuldeep Sharma, Naseer Hussain and Vikram Sharma. He also thanked the Prime Minister for taking prompt and quick action in Jammu and Kashmir flood affected areas.
Crops including flora and fauna and habitants have been badly affected and Govt. has not provided any relief to the people of Kalakote Constituency so far, he said adding Govt. has become like step mother for the affected people. Most of the people are living under the open sky and without any shelter, he mentioned. The youth leader has appealed to the Govt. to come forward and provide basic amenities and tents to the affected people.
