KUPWARA: Keran Club won both scheduled matches in the District Volleyball Championship, organised by District Volleyball Association Kupwara under the aegis of Volleyball Association of Jammu and Kashmir, at Government High School Chougal Ground, here on Sunday.
A total of eight teams, representing different clubs and institutions of the district, are participating in this championship. Earlier, the event was inaugurated by General Secretary of the District Association, Gurdev Singh.
The Results: Keran Volleyball Club defeated Chogal Volleyball Club 3-1 (25-19, 25-21, 23-25, 25-16); Green Volleyball Club Maidan Handwara lost to Keran Volleyball Club 0-3 (18-25, 15-25, 20-25).
