JAMMU: Hosts KC Sports Club (KCSC) bagged the overall title trophy of the Lawn Tennis event in the ongoing Sportathon, here on Monday.
Earlier, in under-16 girls singles final, Pawanpreet of KCSC defeated Komal of Delhi Public School (DPS). The under-16 boys doubles title went to the duo of Aryaman and Tarun of KC Public School, who defeated Bhavya Dev Singh and Samay of KC Sports Club.
In the mixed doubles title clash, Bhavya Dev Singh and Pawanpreet of KCSC outplayed Aryamqan Wazir and Mokshi of KC Public School. Considering the performance across different categories, the overall trophy in Lawn Tennis bagged by KC Sports Club with two gold and one silver. The overall second place went to KC Public School securing gold, silver and bronze each. The DPS Jammu remained third.
Meanwhile, in Football, JK Public School and KC Public won their respective matches decided today. In the first match, JK Public beat Heritage Public 3-0. Rumaan, Mainik and Aditya were the scorers. In other match, K C Public School trounced KC International making it a big 6-0 on the scoreboard. Vardaan secured hat trick while, Bilal Javed netted two goals. The other goal came through Namandeep. Today’s matches officiated by the technical penal comprising Suresh Gupta, Ricky, Rocky and Elizha Sotra.
