KC HYUNDAI CUP: JCC, Challenger Club register wins

JAMMU: Jammu Cricket Club (JCC) and Challenger Cricket Club registered win in the ongoing KC Sports Club Cricket Tournament, sponsored by KC Hyundai Jammu, held here on Monday.
In the first match of the day, Jammu Cricket Club (JCC) outclassed Prince Cricket Club (PCC) by nine wickets.
Batting first, PCC amassed 116 runs in stipulated 20 overs for the loss of seven wickets with Yogesh (29) and Sahil (24) runs as top scorers. For JCC, Deepak clinched three wickets and Rahil took two.
In reply, JCC played valiantly and finish the match in 14.2 overs by losing just one wicket. Sidharth Magotra and Vivek Singh played a unbeaten knock of 47 and 38 runs respectively while Jaswinder contributed 22 runs. For PCC, Ayaz took one wicket. Sidharth Magotra was declared Man of the Match.
In another match, Challenger Cricket Club defeat Yankey Cricket Club (YCC) by six wickets.
Batting first, YCC failed to face the bowling attack of opponent and was collapsed at 47 runs in 11.1 overs. Kapil scores 19 runs and Vishal added 16 to the total.
For Challenger Cricket Club, Akash Choudhary was wrecker-in-chief who claimed five wickets with hat-trick while Sahil also bowled well and clinched four wickets and Sunit took one.
In reply, Challenger Cricket Club chase the target for the loss of four wickets in 6.1 overs. Govil made 12 runs and Shoaib added 10 and finish the match. Akash Choudhary of CCC was declared Man of the Match.
