JAMMU: Citizens’ Forum Jammu extended support and appreciated the strong stand taken by Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti in retaliating the nefarious designs and actions by Pakistan and the Hurriyat people in creating present situation in Kashmir.
President Citizen’s Forum R K Chadha said that Geelani and other leaders who have very conveniently forgotten that this state belongs to people of Jammu and Ladakh also who are far too more in numbers than the section of Kashmiri Azadi seekers who are permanently on the pay role of Pakistan through Hurriyat leaders. “There is a section of people who, we think are getting funds regularly from Pakistan to be always ready to create disruption in the valley. We demand from the Central Government to reach out to this section of people and correct their approach towards India and also towards Kashmiri masses who want to live a peaceful life”, he said adding that India is capable of dealing with Pakistan but it is the common Kashmiri people who have to be tackled economically, with love and tenderness to bring them into the flourishing mainstream of India. The forum however expressed solidarity with peace loving Kashmiri people who are facing the brunt of unending violence due to handful of trouble-mongers.
