Kangan Premier League concludes, AGS beat Shining stars

GANDERBAL: Army Goodwill School (AGS) team clinched the title after beating Shining Star Ari Chatargul by five wickets in the Kangan Premier League 2016 organised by Army’s 24 Rashtriya Riffles Battalion (Bihar), which concluded in Margund, here on Thursday.
Army’s drone camera remained active in air during the final match and presentation ceremony which was a point of attraction to the spectators.
A total of 90 teams comprising 1,350 cricketers from across Kangan, Gund and adjacent areas participated in the tournament.
Commanding Officer, 24 RR was the Chief Guest in the prize distribution ceremony who distributed trophies, certificates and cash prizes among the players. Winning team besides the KPL trophy, received a cash prize of Rs 15,000 whereas runner-up team got Rs. 10,000.
