Kaith Biradari holds Socio-religious function

R S PURA: The Jammu and Kashmir Kaith Biradari organised a grand function at village Langotian wherein the Biradari members who came in large number, paid obeisance to their ancestral spirit: Sankri Devta and sought his benevolent blessings for the welfare of their families. They also partook Prasad from the Bhandara.
Biradari Head G.R Kaith said that Sankri Devta is an important male deity who is worshipped at various places in Jammu once or twice a year. He is believed to be protector of the Kaith families and fulfils one’s wishes.
Dr Ramesh Kumar Kaith felicitated the students who attained positions and distinctions in Board Examinations and impressed the Biradari members that the children being future hope of the Biradari must be provided opportunities to excel in academic, technical and sports activities.
R.L Kaith appealed to the Biradari members to eradicate social evils prevalent in the Biradari which have resulted in weakening it and creating a sense of inferiority complex and inadequacy in its members.
Besides, the entire Biradari remembered Late Lt Col. Manohar Lal Kaith who contributed tirelessly in all aspects of voluntary service whether it was practical assistance to others or Biradari activities or raising funds for charity.

Des Raj Kaith, Ex-Bank Manager Ramesh Kumar Kaith, Shiv Ram Kaith, Krishan Lal Kaith, Amar Nath Kaith, Yash Pal Kaith, Kewal Krishan Kaith, Bishan Dass Kaith and Bharat Bhushan Kaith.
