JAMMU: To raise teams for the upcoming Inter-university competition, University of Jammu (JU) shall be holding selection trials for women hockey and Gatka (men and women) on the campus, here on February one.
While the hockey trials shall be conducted at the JU hockey ground, the Gatka selection shall take place at Gymnasium Hall on the campus here from 10:00 AM onwards, a handout issued here today informed.
The North Zone Inter-University Women Hockey event is being hosted by Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar while the Gatka meet shall be held at Guru Kashi University, Bathinda (Punjab).
The interested players have been advised to report at the venue on given dates and timings along with their eligibility Performa and identity cards duly issued by the head of the institution, the handout added.
