JAMMU: In the District Sub-juniors Judo Championship held at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium Jammu, JK Public School Kunjwani won one Gold, three Silver and three Bronze Medals. The championship was held under the banner of Jammu District Judo Association.
The winners include Divyanshi Damral, Gold Medal, Sanvi Sharma, Dhananjay Singh and Shivam Singh, Silver Medal each, Mohd. Faizan, Bavish Sudan and Gurpreet Singh, Bronze Medal each.
In Sahodaya Inter-School U-16 (Girls) Football Tournament, organized by Birla Open Minds School Jammu, team JKPS Kunjwani got the runner’s up trophy. There was a tie in the final between team JKPS and team BOMIS by 1-1, however, during the tie breakers team JKPS lost the Trophy.
The winners of the runner’s up trophy include Ruhani, Samridhi, Abha, Harshita, Gunvika, Aakriti, Kashvi, Kanshika, Pratima, Aliza, Ishiqua Pal, Annya, Mannat, Omera, Rhythm and Karen.
Director JK Education Society, Shashi Chaudhary and School Principal Rajesh Rathore congratulated the jkiians for bringing laurels to the school and felicitated them in the school assembly.
They lauded the school Judo Coach Ashwani Kumar, Football Coach Eliza Sotra and HOD (Sports) Subash Chander for training the teams.
