JAMMU: In the Inter-School Swimming Competition held on July 29 and 30, 2024 at Jodhamal Public School, Jaywardhan Singh Jamwal of JK Public School won two gold medals in 50M and 100M Free Style in the Boys (U-17) Category, and has been selected for the Nationals.
In the Boys (U-19) Category, Agrasya Sumbria won one silver medal in 50M Back Stroke. In the Girls (U-19) Category, Divyanshi Damral won bronze medal in 50M Back Stroke.
In the Inter-School District Level Subroto Cup Football competitions held from July 26 to 29, 2024 at MA Stadium Jammu, Team JKPS Kunjwani secured second position.
The winners included Harsh Sharma, Danish Choudhary, Gursimen Singh, Manjot Singh, Sandeep Singh, Arhan Malik, Abdullah Rishu, Akshat Kumar, Harshvardhan, Arnesh Singh, Prabhat Singh, Aadit Sahni, Mohd Shoaib Khan, Chirag Lakshmi, Rahat Kaith, Ayushvir Singh, Ishmeet Singh and Suryansh Singh.
Shashi Chaudhary, Director JK Educational Society and Principal Rajesh Rathore congratulated the winners and felicitated them in the School Assembly.
They also lauded School Swimming Coach Ram Paul, Seema Dev, Football Coach Elija Sotra and HOD (Sports) Subsh Chander for their commendable achievements.
Principal JK Public School, Rathore expressed his pride in the students’ accomplishments, stating, “The spirit of sportsmanship and excellence displayed by the JKIIANS is commendable. These achievements are not just about winning; they reflect the hard work, resilience and dedication of our students and coaches. We encourage our students to continue pursuing their passion for sports while maintaining their academic excellence.”
