JAMMU: In the National Sambo Championship, held recently at Divisional Sports Complex, Aurangabad (Maharashtra), JK Public School Kunjwani got one silver and three bronze medals.
The winners include Ayush Khajuria (Silver Medal), Piyush Swaroop, Samridh Khajuria and Dhairya Sheel Singh, a Bronze medal each.
The championship was held under the banner of Sambo Association of India (SAI). Around 1065 players participated in this mega event from across the country.
Director JK Educational Society, Shashi Chaudhary and School Principal Rajesh Rathore congratulated the winners and felicitated them in the school assembly.
They also lauded Gopal Dass, School Coach and HOD (Sports) Subash Chander for preparing the students for National Platform.
